I received this product complimentary for testing purposes, and all opinions are my own.
I have been using this wonderful coffee maker for a while and is the best thing ever, it makes delicious coffee and is so easy to use. I, personality love the looks and the different way to brew my coffee every morning and afternoon.
Yep, I drink coffee multiple times a day, especially on my very busy days, I also like how easy it is to clean and it can keep my coffee warm for a good amount of time.
It doesn’t take lots of space and the set up is very simple, my coffee is richer, bolder and just perfect. You must look for it and change the way of coffee, I’m sure you’ll love it as much as me.
Football season is here and I can’t wait. It is a great time to share delicious appetizer and finger food ideas and share them with my friends on Sundays, you know, Sunday football is the best.
So today I bring to you my version of two things I love, chicken and lime or lemon if you want, and I made a deliciously lemony chicken wings, my version of the best of the end of summer with the start of the perfect finger food.
And you know that wings are the favorite finger food at any sports match especially football, but for me, a delicious wing has to be crispy and full of flavor, you may thing that lime flavor is difficult to keep but marinating them is the secret to a great flavor. They are perfect, with some fries and a side of ranch dressing, my favorite.
So let’s check it up a little bit and go ahead make this delicious and different wings for your next football party.

Lemony Chicken Wings #SundaySupper
Your favorite wings from now on, so crispy and with a fabulous lime flavor.
Thanks to Gimmee Jimmy’s Cookies for providing me with a tin of cookies for my review. All opinions are 100% my own.
I got a delicious tin of Gimmee Jimmy’s Cookies and let me tell you, this is one of the best cookies I have tried. The challenge for us, taste the freshness each day. So we need it to eat one each day to see how everything was going, my job is so hard :).
On day one, I just could not resist eating about 3 with my cup of coffee and my girls definitely enjoy them too. The only downfall I have is that some of the cookies were broken, but either way, we eat them all.
By day 4 the cookies were still fresh and delicious, one key element is to keep the cookies in the original tin, this will keep them with zero expose to any element that can make them soft.
By day 7 most of the cookies were gone, but the freshness was still there, I kept some for more time and let me tell you, the cookies were delicious, fresh and full of flavors.
I really want to encore you to buy and try Gimmee Jimmy’s Cookies. Check out their website for more information and here are their social channels.

Do you love easy to make and ready to use baking mixes? I do too and on this occasion, I want to share with you a wonderful product that is not only super easy to use but also perfect when you are creating a delicious dessert with the kids.
Okay, let me give you more info, Nestle Toll House is launching a new product line and this will make your life super easy when it comes to baking. This line of baking mixes is perfect for easy and fast dessert and at the same time you can get super creative while making it.
For example, my girls love to bake with me and I always try to have on hand easy shortcuts for them to help them to make the perfect dessert. The baking mixes are perfect because they can make different flavors and at the same time created a completely different dessert out of them.
And we love to make so many different things, like these sandwich cookies, my inspiration for this recipe is simple, my little one, she is 7 and love cookies so much, and I always have some for her to eat after dinner, but I want it to make something different, and because my freezer is full I just want it to recreate the classic sandwich cookies. The firts thing on the list is go to Walmart and buy as many as we can of the baking mixes, we want it to stock up our pantry with all the mixes to make as many combinations as we can, and that way invite some friends to try our cookies.
Ok, for the cookies I use my new favorite NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Cookies & More Cookie Baking Mix with Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels, oh my, they are so soft, deliciously sweet, and so much chocolate flavor in every bite, and to complement these cookies a soft and perfect hazelnut buttercream, so creamy and I’m sure you will love this combination as much as we do.
This is definitely a product you must try, share and enjoy with your family, there are different flavor combinations and any of them can be the new family favorite. Want more info? Check out Nestle Toll House Facebook
And I want to hear from you, what new creation can you make with Nestle Toll House Baking Mix? What is your favorite mix? Leave me a comment.

Ok, let me start by saying that I love donuts! Thank you, I needed that, I’m so happy to participate this month in the donut event for #FoodieExtravaganza and I’m sure you are too.
This is a great theme to have especially this month for me living in Southen California, the weather has been wonderful not too hot and perfect for baking, wich makes me so happy because I love to bake during the summer time. I know most of the donuts are fried but some people love to bake them and let me tell you those donuts are pretty delicious too.
Now let me talk about my donuts, I know that the title said orange glace, but, I decide also to present them in a different way and add the orange zest to the dough, this addition will make the donuts tastier and with a delicious citrus flavor. I’m sure you will love the flavor and this is a great opportunity to have some fun in the kitchen with your kids and let them decorate and cover the donuts and those little fingers in gooey goodies.
July has arrived and that means it’s time for another #FoodieExtravaganza! Each month we take turns hosting and selecting a foodie holiday associated with that month. Somehow in all the planning July was overlooked so in a mad dash in the second half of June, Lauren of From Gate to Plate told us to celebrate the doughnut. If anyone is keeping score, National Doughnut Day is actually the first Friday in June, but none of us are complaining to be celebrating one of America’s favorite breakfast treats today. July is National Culinary Arts month so let’s just go with that. Also in July: Fried Chicken Day (today, the 6th), Blueberry Muffin Day (the 11th), and Junk Food Day (the 21st).
Posting day is always the first Wednesday of each month. If you are a blogger and would like to join our group and blog along with us, come join our Facebook page Foodie Extravaganza. We would love to have you! If you’re a spectator looking for delicious tidbits check out our Foodie Extravaganza Pinterest Board! Looking for our previous parties? Check them out HERE.
Orange Glace Donuts #FoodieExtravaganza
Delicious donuts to share with family and friends.
Heat 1/4 cup of the milk just enough, add yeast and 1 teaspoon of sugar, cover and let it grow for 5 minutes.
In the bowl of a stand mixer add, the rest of the sugar, butter, salt, cornstarch and dry milk, mix just to combine.
Add the yest mixture and mix just a little, then add the egg and the rest of the milk, mix to combine, add in 3 additions the flour, if you have a hook for the mixer, use it and beat the dough for 8 minutes.
If you don't have one, knead for 8 minutes. Then place the dough in a greased bowl and let it grow for one and a half hors.
Once ready, heat up enough oil at 350 degrees in a pot, roll out the dough, cut the donuts, shapes and sides you like and fry 2 minutes on each side and place in a sheet with some towel paper.
Have fun decorating the donuts, I made a mixture of 3 tablespoons of sugar with some orange zest to cover the sugar donuts.

Between all the things I do daily, one is for sure, I need to go to my favorite grocery store to buy the products I need for my recipes.
And let me tell you, from the moment I came to this country I shop in a Kroger banner store call Ralphs, my absolutely favorite for my everyday shopping.
Not only is very close to my house, but it is also convenient and has amazing offers all the time. Vegetables and fruits are always fresh and they have a good variety of Latin products.
Of course this is very important to me, especially on those occasions when I want to make for my daughters a delicious and traditional Costa Rican recipe, and they love to come with me and sample some cheese, find the bread they love and of course help me with the list, very important is what my little one said, she always help with the list.
I love going and know that I can find everything I need without having to go to another store.
For example, for this recipe, I needed very specific ingredients, such as ripe plantains, refried beans, and fresh fruits, these products represent a very important role in our nutrition, and culturally it is important for us to always eat products of excellent quality.
Another thing the I love, is just how friendly is everybody, always helping us with what we need an excellent attitude, and I can’t forgot to mention the coupons and sales to help you save more money.
But what motivates me to continue visiting my store Ralphs is that ultimately I love the variety, the environment and how convenient it is to buy.
It is truly one of the best supermarkets I visited, and I am a faithful buyer, I would not change it for another. Great prices, great deals, and I find everything I need.
So I invite you to make this recipe and to visit your store Kroger or a Kroger Banner store just like Ralphs.
Oh and don’t forget to let me know what you think about the recipe.
Platano Maduro Cake with Black Beans and Fresh Fuit #RecetasParaMomentos #ad #CollectiveBias
A perfectly, delicious and different way to eat your plantains. Not your everyday cake but totally delicious.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Cut the ends of the banana and cut in half, wash them and place them in a pot with water, cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.
Once ready, peel off the skin, and mash them up, add butter, sugar, and cinnamon, put it back on a medium-low heat and mix well.
Mix milk and cornstarch and add it to the mixture above, combine well and remove from heat. Have ready an 8x8 pyrex, place half of the mixture on the bottom, beans and the other half of the mixture. I highly recommend to sprinkle some sugar about a teaspoon and place five little pieces of butter for extra flavor.
Bake for 15 minutes. For the fruit, just wash, place on a plate and once the cake is ready grab a piece and enjoy.
Oh my, we all love summer, but the things I love the most are those memories that I have from my childhood, and one of the reasons I love the theme so much this week is because it gives me the opportunity to share this delicious, super easy and so old fashion dessert.
I’m sure many of you know how to make it, but I want to share the recipe my grandmother used to make for us all the time during this time of the year. I love so many aspects of the dessert, especially the way it tastes and how easy it is to make, you don’t need any special ingredients, just some simple everyday ingredients that I know we all have in our pantry.
My way of remembering my grandmother is by cooking all the dishes I learn from her and this is one that it is very close to my heart. I hope you like it and enjoy it just as much as we still do.

I want to start by saying that my father was a wonderful person and every time I think about him tears come out, I miss him so much and not only on father’s day but every day.
Ok, no more tears let’s talk about happy memories and the wonderful time we spend together. This maizena tamal was one of his favorites for afternoon coffee and I remember my grandmother making it all the time, it took me a while to master her recipe but I finally got it right.
I’m so happy to be able to make it for my husband and my daughters for this father’s day and to share it with my friends. And let me tell you a little bit about this tamal; in Costa Rica we have different kinds of tamles, we make the traditional with masa harina and the sweet kind made in this case with corn starch, yes as you can see this tamal is completely gluten-free.
One of the things we love about it is to make it and serve with a hot cup of coffee in the morning or the afternoon and is delicious at room temperature or cold. This is definitely one of my favorites and I’m so happy to be able to share it with all of you for this special day.
