I love the flavor is like eating a piece of chocolate with cherry filling, and you can for sure add some cherry liquor to give it a little something extra, specially if you make it to take to a holiday party.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and prepare a bundt cake mold with grease and flour. Cream sugar and butter for 5 minutes, add eggs one by one and vanilla extract. In another bowl combine dry ingredients including the cherry jello, add the dry and with the buttermilk alternating both.
  2. Add the chocolate chips by hand and mix until combine. Place in the mold and tap a few time to remove air bubbles. Bake until well done, remember to check the center of the cake to avoid it to be raw.
