Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease and flour a bundt pan. Cream butter and sugar for 5 minutes, add eggs one by one and cream for another 5 minutes. In a bowl, mix flour, jello, baking soda and powder, salt and lime zest. Add dry ingredients to the cream and sugar mixture, alternating with the buttermilk, add cherries by hand and mix well until incorporated.
  2. Pour in the baking pan and bake. Once ready let it cool for 20 minutes, remove from the pan and place in a cooling rack to cool completely. My cake took only 45 minutes, so check yours, about 5 minutes before time ends, remember every oven is diferent.
