And we are back, yes we are and this time we have the most delicious and sweet cookies inspired by all things Autumn. Yes, the flavors and smells of the most amazing season of the year.

For you today I made a different and easier way to make your cookies fo this season. Perfectly bake and flavor with warm cinnamon and crunchy pecans. These cookies are the best options when you need to make a bunch for a party or a gathering with friends.

I bake the hold batch of cookies on a single cookie sheet, to make it easier and fast for me and for you, I was actually in a little hurry and I need to experiment a little with my cookies, you know sometimes you have to. But the end result is very delicious, just keep in mind that you must cut the cookies when hot, otherwise, it can be too difficult.

Women Goals and Finance #WomenInspired #Ad

This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Prudential and DiMe Media. However, all opinions expressed are my own.
women-goals-and-finance-womeninspired-ad
Hi, today we are going to talk about money, yes, you knew that we need it to have this conversation for a long time. And the thing is us women don’t really talk about finances as a topic when we have a girls night and we do really need to do it more often.

I recently had the pleasure to attend an event with Prudential to learn more about what we as women need to know about our future and let me tell you, it completely opens my eyes in a very good way.

We learn about the issues with money and woman, on how the men had taken the role of the family to provide and we are more low key sometimes and stay home and assume some responsibilities as has bean the costume.

But the topic that was more in tune with me was that me as an entrepreneur I tend to price myself really low and don’t value the work that I do. I love the idea that I’m the solution to many other women out there and we are completely capable of competing with men on a financial level.
What financial challenges have you faced and conquered? How did you do it?
What are you doing to sustain your financial wellness, work towards retirement and invest in your own legacy?
Is there such a thing as work / life balance? Learn how to prioritize.
Juggling work and family to reach your goals isn’t easy, but it can be done. Finding dependent childcare or eldercare, requesting a flexible work schedule or asking the family to help around the house are a few ideas. #WomenInspired http://bit.ly/1XnczUc

I want to grow my business and be a useful person, and sometimes we only think about today and no tomorrow. Remember, personal finances is a personal responsibility. Besides your family and loved ones, what inspires or motivates you to keep going?

The best advice I receive: Reach to your Prudential Adviser, they can help you reach your goal for you and your loved ones. Work with a professional that has the knowledge that you need to guide you.

womeninspired-ad-ready

We have the tools to built the most amazing business, my homework for you is to sit down with your family and talk about your financial future. Call and as for a Prudential Adviser, to learn and ask as many questions you have is never too late to start saving for your future.

We all love to have the means to enjoy our life when we are older right? Well is not only saving, the key to all this is knowledge and having our money in good hands.

Protecting the work of a lifetime – pointers for business owners and individuals
Building wealth isn’t easy. But it can be even harder to keep it. In this panel discussion, three financial professionals explain everything from starting a business to money management and succession planning. Gelatina Cremosa (Creamy Jello) #GustoNestle #ad #CollectiveBias

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #GustoNestle #CollectiveBias

gelatina-cremosa-creamy-jello-gustonestle-ad-collectivebias

I want to share with all of you today a great recipe but also an especial celebration. As a latina, I feel the responsibility to share all my knowledge and roots with my daughters. I know most of the time we feel like in a competition of language but let me tell you, we are and we must teach our kids how important it is to speak in Spanish.

My grandmother used to say, los hijos son el reflejo de uno mismo, and let me tell you that is true. Every day I’m on top of my girls asking them to speak more and more Spanish.

gustonestle-products-walmart

I’m so proud to have this heritage and share all my abuelas recipes and of course, I’m so lucky that I can find lots of the same ingredients we have in Costa Rica here in San Diego. Walmart is a source for me to find all I need for my recipes, especially this month that we are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.

I must say, one pantry item that I love and I can’t live without is NESTLÉ® La Lechera Sweetened Condensed Milk; We use it in almost or all our recipes, we eat it with crackers or fresh bread and pour on top of our snow cones, we have to have it at all times, it is definitely part of our food culture.

gustonestle-products-home

And speaking of celebrations, did I mention that back home my family when it comes to food and gatherings is the best, we all make different traditional dishes and share with our neighbors and friends. Here in San Diego, I’m blessed to have fabulous friends to celebrate this important month and sometimes I rely in different dishes that I love and are not very latinoish but, we put our stamp on it. For example, I brought STOUFFER’S® Family Size Chicken Alfredo and because this is a complete meal, I recommend to take advantage of the Ibotta link which offers a $1.00 reimbursement. I just made to accompany this dish my abuelitas Ensalada de Repollo, Yum! what a delicious dinner we had.

And for dessert, we had so much, Arroz con leche, caramelos and because I love easy peasy no  complications, I know everybody love cookies and ice cream It was easy OUTSHINE® FROZEN SNACKS and NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Refrigerated Cookie Dough, was an easy option, so fresh cookies and paletas it is.

Don’t get me wrong we are very proud of our culture and our food, but sometimes we need to make our life a little easy to also enjoy the party.

gustonestle-dessert

I know what are you thinking, what is my recipe? Ok just let me tell you that this recipe is my sisters go to dessert, she loves to make it and is so easy and so traditional that I want to share it with all of you. I’m sure that you are going to love how simple and easy it is, and  how perfect it is for any family gathering. Remember we as latinos, are very humble people that love to laugh, eat and spend time with our families and friends, and we made delicious food with the most basic ingredients.

gustonestle-dessert-hispanic
