I love this month theme, we all know that October is a chocolate month and we must make lots and lots of delicious recipes using chocolate, especially because is a great opportunity to clean up the pantry and start fresh for the holidays.

As a chocoholic myself, I always have a good amount of different kinds of chocolate, you know like chips, bars, and cocoa, I have to say that my pantry is always full with a good variety of this amazing treat.

So check out your pantry because this recipe is super easy to make and I’m sure you will find all the ingredients hiding somewhere.

Foodie Extravaganza is a monthly food fest, where a group of bloggers all create and share a recipe around one of the monthly food ‘holidays’ as detailed in The Nibble. This month Kathleen from Fearlessly Creative Mammas is hosting and since chocolate day is October 28th, Chocolate is our theme. There are actually two other days that incorporate chocolate in October, the 14th is Chocolate Covered Insect Day and the 18th is Chocolate Cupcake day. We didn’t want to get to specific though, so we will just say chocolate.

Posting day is always the first Wednesday of each month. If you are a blogger and would like to join our group and blog along with us, come join our Facebook page Foodie Extravaganza. We would love to have you! If you’re a spectator looking for delicious tid-bits check out our Foodie Extravaganza Pinterest Board! Looking for our previous parties? Check them out HERE.

She loves cookies with some kind of savory flavor and in this case my I prepare for her and well everybody in the family my famous Oats and Nuts cookies.

I love them with some cool milk or cold chocolate milk. Yum! what a great combination, Don’t you think? I’m sure you will enjoy these cookies too.

Classic Coffee Cake #FoodieExtravaganza

classic coffee cake #foodieextravaganza

This is my first time in months that I’m been able to post in this amazing party, and what a better way to do it than making a delicious coffee cake. This month we are celebrating coffee cake, and you know we have to have it at least once a week or maybe once a day.

I love coffee cakes and I made a different combination and different flavors but nothing beat the classic, and for me the simple the better. This coffee cake is just a mouth full of deliciousness in one bite and is super easy to make.

Many people think that coffee cake is a cake with a coffee base and it is really funny that my daughter want it a piece and ask me “does this cake has coffee? Well not it doesn’t and I think that it is name like that because it is usually eating with coffee and you know it was a great way to make people come and enjoy a cup of coffee with a delicious cake.

I want to say thank you to Lauren Mitchell from From Gate to Plate for bringing us a great party theme.

What is your favorite coffee cake? Tell I want to know…

It’s Foodie Extravaganza Day and this month’s theme is Coffee Cake with Caroline from Caroline’s Cooking is hosting What is Foodie Extravaganza? It’s when a group of bloggers get together and make a recipe using one main ingredient. Where do we get the ingredient? We look at The Nibble and pick something off of their list. Croissants are actually celebrated on January 30th, but it’s in January, so it’s fair game. You can check out our group Pinterest board for past recipes. If you’re a blogger, you can join along with us by requesting to join on our Facebook page. Now, on to the goodness being shared this month:
