Costa Rican cuisine is known for its traditional dishes.

Among them is this delicious recipe, chorreadas or arepas are like pancakes made ​​from corn. They are accompanied by white cheese and sour cream .

3 cans of sweet corn
2/3 cup milk
24 tablespoons flour
12 tablespoons of sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of salt
sour cream to taste
queso blanco to taste


Place all ingredients in blender.
Blend to a paste, it should not be very liquid.
Place tablespoons of mixture into hot skillet and cook for 5 minutes each side or until golden.
Remove from heat.

Serve with sour cream and cheese.

This recipe makes 14 units.
